One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how I came up with the name of my photography business. And while it’s easy to jump to the conclusion that it’s inspired by Harry Potter, that’s not actually the case. Harry Potter enthusiast, right? Surprisingly, I must confess I haven't actually watched any of the Harry Potter movies. To all my clients who are devoted fans, rest assured we can still be great pals! The truth is, my business name stems from my deep love for all things Disney. When you step foot into any Disney park, you’re immediately immersed in a whole new world. There’s a sense of wonder, joy, and magic that surrounds you, and that feeling is exactly what I want to capture with my wedding photography.
Growing up in sunny Southern California and having the privilege to frequent Disneyland, plus working at the Disneyland Resort in my early adult years, infused my business with a deep sense of nostalgia. This nostalgia links my childhood and adult life, and I wanted to bring that same sense of wonder and magic into my work. There’s something so special about the way love and joy come together in a wedding, and I feel incredibly lucky to capture these moments that feel like pure magic.
